Living with a chronic medical condition affects far more than physical health. Clients navigating autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses often experience grief, identity changes, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, relationship challenges, and medical burnout. Yet many mental health professionals receive little formal training on how these conditions impact emotional well-being.

This course bridges that gap.

Participants will learn how chronic illness influences mental health, recognize common emotional and psychological patterns, explore effective therapeutic interventions, and increase confidence when supporting clients living with complex medical conditions.
